The hotel's location was central to our needs, but noise from guests using the BBQ area late into the night was disruptive. The rooms, especially those at the back of the property, were small, and the cleaning operations could be more efficient to reduce the presence of ants. The service was responsive for basic requests; however, issues like setting an 'out of order' sign on the washing machine should have been anticipated better. The dining experience, particularly Indonesian food, could be ordered to the room but came at inflated prices. Overall, the facilities were decent, yet some maintenance was lacking in specific areas.

The hotel felt like a time capsule with some new and clean elements, offering a beautiful view of the garden, especially the roses, although it could benefit from a renovation.
